Lots to Show!

Still struggling I'm afraid, but have managed to make a couple of cards and here's one of them.....

This is for the Tilda & Co challenge.....I know, I know....I'm late with this one but thought I would have a go anyway as one of my nephews' birthday is coming up soon so thought it would kill two birds with one stone!! The challenge was to use just black and white and I really enjoyed making this. Used William the Goblin and coloured him with Prismas and Sansodor. Paper is from Pink Petticoat printed onto lightweight cardstock, c.s. is Bazzill and ribbon is from Doodlebug. Also used the Magnolia snail and left him white but added some Glamour Dust to his shell. Sentiment is from Autumn Leaves and sticky gems are Papermania.

I'm a member of the Tilda and Friends Forum and we recently did an ATC swap and I received these lovely ones back!

Annie's ATC

Shary's ATC

Sue's ATC

Aren't they gorgeous?!! Thanks Ladies!

I've also received two awards. This one was from Denise, my blogging buddy and fellow DT Member for Stamp Something....

.....and this one from Fran, my Supplies Manager and Advisor!!! She'll know exactly what I mean!!

Thank you so much....I do appreciate you thinking of me when handing out these awards...it really is a great compliment. I'm going to give the Kreativ Blogger Award to Denise because I love her designs and ideas and because it was her birthday last Friday!!!! Hope you had a great day Denise :)

The Blogging with a Purpose award I am giving to Fran because she definitely has a purpose in the blogging world.......to advise me on different makes of stamps and when they become available so that I can spend far too much money!!!! I also think her creations are fabulous!

Last but by no means least, I am giving both awards to Vanessa because I think she needs cheering up at the moment (and I love your cards too!!).

One final thing for this post (sorry it's going on a bit!). All SBS-13 Sisters - me and Vanessa have now handed over the card swap to Jo and Angie so you will be hearing from them with details of a new swap. Please show your support by joining in.

Must get the boys their lunch now.....enjoy the rest of your weekend!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
