And This One Really Was Quick!!

I'm not kidding! Realised this morning that I needed a "thank you" card to go with a little present for a friend who I was seeing tonight and bearing in mind I was out most of the day and this evening, it really was a rush job! I've been dying to use this stamp which arrived last month then when I went to stamp it, realised I hadn't mounted it!! Anyway, this was the end result.......

I do like to keep my cards quite simple and clean looking and thought I'd stick with the red and white theme. The stamp is Latte Bella coloured with Marvy and mounted onto red Bazzill c.s. cut with my Nestabilities and Cuttlebug, with three Papermania sticky gems. The base of the card is red Bazzill c.s. again and some white card embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. Sentiment is from MFT. Very simple but quite effective I think!

Off to watch the football now......COME ON CHELSEA!!!!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
