My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!

The second photo was taken in April and I've since lost more than a stone (14 pounds) since then. My total weight loss is a couple of pounds short of 5 stone! Tony has no idea I even started this diet let alone what I look like now as the last time he saw me was in October when I looked like the first photo!! He's going to get a bit of a shock to say the least but not to worry, I've checked his life assurance and it's all up-to-date lol!!

Well done Jo! Good on you for achieving what you wanted to. I am in the process of trying to loose weight myself and have now got a Wii so hopefully I will be able to do some exersise LOL x

Jo that is awesome !!!!!! I know how you feel about putting it on. I use to wear a size 5, but now that I am older and all the women things that goes on the last 3 years I have went up to a size 11. I felt so much better with the weight off but girl you look just gorgeous !!!!!!!!!

WOWSWER! Congrats! You look soooo happy in that second photo! And I am so proud for you! I am just in the process of convincing myself it is my time. Feet are swelling, fell yucky and can't stand the outside heat. Time to loose the weight! You are an inspiration! for stamping and now my wieght loss! Maybe we need a TILDA weight loss group... you know she is a tad chunky herself. =)

Wow get you! You look so good and well done! But more importantly how did you do it? I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid last year and since being on the medication have slowly gained weight. No matter what I do it just wont shift. I've got a Wii fit and have been using that, along with walks with Rylee in big heavy pushchair up lots of hills, not through choice but our village is very hilly and aptly named "Winshill"! Anyway keep the good work up and I'm sure Tony will think you look fab... we're sooo not gonna see you for ages, the plus side is think of all that exercise ;)

Well done Jo, you look fantastic your Husband will be amazed. I to was slim when I married my husband 15 years ago, went up to a size 20 and last year I got fed up and decided to do something about it after 1 year of cutting down I'm down to a size 14 and it's feels great. Mind I don't look as good as you Jill x

I am trying my very best too, I was 8 stone before paul had his acccident, and two weeks agao I tipped nearly 12 stone, it's coming off slowly , very slow, but hey maybe it might stay off with a bit of luck, bt I tell ya I am struggling big time... so my hat off to you....

How did Tony take the new you, I think you look fantastic, You must be so proud of yourself and so must Tony, although I am sure its makes no difference to the way he feels about you he must be pleased that you wanted to do it for him
