Just For You

This is a card I made yesterday to send to a blogging buddy. It was quite quick to make as I had already coloured in the Paris Tilda a few weeks back, which by the way, was done with Prismas and Sansodor.

I've kept the card fairly simple again by covering two-thirds of it with Bazzill c.s. and then attaching some ribbon from my stash across the join. Cut out Tilda with my Nestabilities, then added three brads from my stash to the top right-hand corner, two flowers and brads to the bottom right-hand corner and finally, a Woodware sentiment stamped directly onto the Bazzill c.s. Ooh, nearly forgot, rounded the corners of the card!

I'd like to say a big thank you to all of you who have entered my blog candy....I'm so glad I don't have to pick a winner as they are all fabulous!! Anyone who still wants to take part can still do so - it closes at Midnight tonight and the boys will pick the winner out of the hat tomorrow when they get home from school over a nice piece of birthday cake!!

See you tomorrow!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
