Variation on a Theme!

Another glorious sunny day in Weymouth.....so sorry but this lovely weather is playing havoc with my crafting! We've been making the most of the sunshine and spending time with the kids in the garden, however, do have a couple of cards to show you. Just lately, the boys seem to have been invited to so many parties so had to make this one for a friend of Lewis's. He went to her sleepover on Friday and had a great time.....so good in fact, that he slept all of Saturday afternoon!! When I made the card, thought I'd be a really good girl and use up the rest of the supplies on a very similar card so I don't get caught out in the future!

I've used my Penny Black elephant and coloured him/her with Brushables and added some Glamour Dust to the petals on the flowers. Cardstock is Bazzill, DP is from HOTP, sentiments are from Craftwork Cards, sticky gems are from Papermania and ribbon is from my stash. Embossed the c.s. on the second card with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. Very basic and simple cards which didn't take long to make and Lewis's friend was very pleased with hers.

Must dash as I've got a chocolate cake in the oven which I need to finish before Tony starts on the tea. Should be back tomorrow with another card to share and some lovely things I have received over the last few days.....see you then.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
