Learning New Techniques

Joined a FB Live on Thursday evening which is teaching different techniques using Tando greyboard as the substrate.

The lovely Hannah was up this week with an aged metal technique and a textured rust technique.  Great fun to do and very straightforward

A Few Gorjuss Girls

Had some spare time on my hands today while I was waiting for the Plumber to call so put together a few cards using the Docrafts Gorjuss kits. Used dies from SU and MFT and sentiment stamps from Paper Smooches plus Washi Tape from Docrafts Gorjuss range.

Techniques Binder

I’m showing my Techniques Binder today. This was originally greyboard and comes from Tando. I saw one which Nikki Killinger, a member of the DT had completed and this gave me the inspiration for my own. Every time I complete a tag from the weekly tutorials, it can be stored in this binder. I've used a few different techniques on this including modelling paste to give a faux embossed look and even broke into my treasured Graphic 45 papers which I've had for a few years now!

Dunno Ducky!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHIL! It's my Brother's birthday today and like many people, I always find it difficult to make a male card so thought I would ink up my Dunno Ducky from High Hopes and this is the result..... The base of the card has been covered with Blonde Moments DP and I made a panel using Bazzill Bling c.s. embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. The duck has been coloured with Prismas and Sansodor and cut out with my round Nestabilities. Added some Doodlebug ribbon and some Bazzill brads and was going to use my PB sentiment "Another Birthday? Weren't you old enough last year?!!", however, it was too big for the card so just made the first part of the sentiment on the computer and used the second part on the insert. The colours of the card have come out a bit dull as it's alot more brighter IRL. Trying to make the most of the weather today as they've given heavy rain tomorrow!
