AMD Samples - Pink Notebook

This is the final sample I have to show and have made something quite simple.

This notebook is made from three pieces of greyboard.  I am sorry but I forgot to measure it when I made it, however, if you start with the size of notepad you are going to use and add about an inch around it, that will give you the measurements for the front and back piece.  You then just need to cut a thin piece for the spine which should be the same length as the back and front - hope that makes sense!

I covered my greyboard with a piece of pink double glitz card and then layered that with pattered paper from the pink Garden Blooms pad.  I then die cut the letters to spell out notes and added some dots around them with a paint pen.

Again, I covered the inside with patterned paper, leaving a slit for the pad to be inserted.  I cut a piece of the pattered paper and scored around three of the edges to make a pocket and then glued it to the inside.  Before fixing down the patterned paper to the inside cover, position where your pen is going to sit and make two holes in the paper and thread through some ribbon/twine and secure it.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
