New High Hopes Release

As some of you may be aware, High Hopes have released their new set of stamps and Ila who is part of their DT has some gorgeous blog candy on offer. If for some insane reason you're not interested in winning some HH stamps, I urge you to visit Ila's blog because her work is absolutely stunning.....I love it!! So pop on over and take a look and try your luck!!

Well, we got home from the fete yesterday just in time as it poured with rain! However, the boys enjoyed themselves and thought you might like to see a photo of them with their balloons!!

If you're wondering what Lewis is holding, it's a palm tree with a bear climbing up it!! I didn't realise until I had taken the picture, that there is a photo behind them taken six years ago......do you think they have grown?!!!

Hope your Sunday is a bit drier than mine.....very wet and windy down here!!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
