Another Birthday Party!

Sam has got another couple of parties coming up so thought I would make a start on one of the cards and not leave it until the last minute as I usually do!! Also, thought I would start inking up some of the stamps I've had for a few weeks now and came up with this one. When I'd made it, realised it qualified for CCT challenge this week which is to make a card for a child!

The images are Magnolia which have been coloured with Promarkers and I've stamped the sentiment (also Magnolia) on top of the wall. Cardstock is Bazzill, however, unsure what DP I used as I've had it for ages and they were scraps! Ribbon is Dovecraft and buttons were in my blog candy win from Jenny.

Got a feeling it's going to be a very relaxing day today - still in my dressing gown and no incentive at all to get going - got a pile of ironing to do 'though which I'm trying hard to ignore!!! Have a great day.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
