Up-date

Hi all! Just to let you know that I've now got my new laptop. I was using Lewis's as mine died but unfortunately, his broke as well, so my lovely Dad has lent me the money to buy a new one. It was all a bit of a panic because I am starting a computer course this week where I can work from home so hopefully everything will be OK on that front now!! You will have to bear with me 'though because this new computer has Vista on it which I am not used to as my old one was XP but I'm gradually getting used to it and the computer course can only help!!!
Beginning to feel a bit brighter in myself and finally managed to do some colouring yesterday with Sam - he actually made a card for his Dad but I didn't get that far!! However, do have some images coloured now so hoping to put something together soon. Think I will have to trawl the challenge sites for some sketches to give me some inspiration.

Hi Jo! Glad to hear you've worked out the computer troubles. Good luck with the course. We're recovering from our wedding weekend festivities, hope to have some time soon to email. Hope things are going well, can't wait to see what you come up with for a card. I haven't done much lately myself. :)

Hi Jo, glad to hear you are up and running again.

Also, a note to say sorry it has taken me so long on the card swap. I will be putting your cards in the post this week.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
