Merci!

A quick posting this morning as I'm having trouble with my car and have to take it to my Brother's so that he can take a quick look at it - think the brake pads are worn! So here's a quick card I made for a friend recently.

I've used Eloise Greengrass again from Bella and coloured her with Promarkers - left off the Glamour Dust this time to keep her plain and simple! Cardstock is Bazzill and DP is Basic Grey, ribbons, flowers and brad from stash and sentiment is Penny Black. Finally, used SU corner rounder punch for all corners.

Hope to be able to put some cards together later today as I've been busy colouring images and also the weather is not so good today so a perfect excuse to hide myself away in my room with my stash!!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I do so love that stamp. The colours you have used are great, sophisicated, I think I'll have to start using darker colours when I colour in. Love checking in on your blog, you are one talented lady. Anita

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
