Not so happy with this one

Another quick post...really must get round to visiting all those lovely blogs out there but have been busy decorating my dining room and there really aren't enough hours in the day!

Not too sure about this creation...I had such big ideas for it and it's a bit bare and simple. Anyway, thought I'd put it on here as I haven't made any cards for a while and might not have another chance for a few days.

The image is Hanglar and was a RAK ages ago, coloured with Promarkers with a Woodware sentiment. Still using the MME papers and added some Bazzill cardstock and blew the dust off my one and only Martha Stewart punch! Finally, added some ribbon and sticky gems from my stash.

Off to iron the boys' uniform as they are back to school tomorrow after the Easter holiday and hopefully, we can get some normality back into this household!!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
