...and a Card with Stitching!

Managed to do some sewing but how long it lasts is beyond me! This was originally intended to be a birthday card but have used it for a get well card as someone I know has just had an operation and needed something pdq to give them.

Found the image in my RAK box - Hanglar of course....ooh, I dream of owning some of these stamps! Coloured with Promarkers and papers are MME - same as before. Flowers are from my stash and brads are Doodlebug sugar coated. Finally added an East of India wooden heart which I've been hanging onto for years!

Feeling a bit under the weather today so going for a sit down now...the rest of the ironing will have to wait!

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
