Birthday Blog Candy!

Well, the goodies finally arrived in time for my birthday so can now show you what I have on offer.


There are three stamps - Skater Ian from The Greeting Farm, Parateddy from Elzybells and the elephant from Rachelle Anne Miller. There is some lilac jute, a pack of blue fibres and a pack of pink fibres, a selection of lilac ribbons in their own organza bag, lace, crochet flowers, a bag of blooms from Poppicrafts and a bag of spacers.

All you have to do is to leave a comment and then spread the word by putting a link to my candy on your blog. I will leave this open until Midnight June 14 and a winner will be announced the following day.

I've had a great day even though I was working - good company and good fun - and my evening has been really relaxed. Would like to say a special thank you to Maria, Andrea, Jose and Vanessa for your cards - they're all beautiful and will post them on my blog soon.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
