The Results Are In!

Do you remember me telling you about the scrapbook me and Lewis had to make as a school project? It was all about his London trip and we put so much work into it in such a short space of time........well, we got 1st place.....whoo hoo!! It also meant that he could at long last, bring the scrapbook home, so I've been able to photograph the pages and here it is. The pages aren't really spectacular as I had to do the whole book in a weekend and I usually like to spend a couple of days on one page!!

Hope you're all taking advantage of the gorgeous hot weather we're having at the moment. Apart from working for a couple of hours on Saturday morning, I should have a peaceful weekend so I'm hoping to sit out in the sunshine for a while and also get the chance to make a card......I haven't made one in ages and I'm itching to get on with one! Have a great weekend.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
