Sketch Something Challenge

The challenge on Stamp Something this week is a sketch by the talented Katharina of Whiff of Joy stamps and here's the sketch.....

and here's my take on it........

I know it's not exactly the same but I adjusted it slightly to fit in with what I had. The image is Good Luck Charlie from Whiff of Joy as is the sentiment and Charlie has been coloured with Promarkers. Papers are from Dovecraft (part of my SS package!) and ribbon is also from Dovecraft. Hardware is from Making Memories.

There's some scrummy candy on offer this week so do pop on over and take a look at the fantastic creations by the other DT members.

Fabulous card Jo! Love that it's a good luck card too, never think to make that kind. Great papers and colors. Love the teal on his coat, it really pops. Fab accents too. Excellent take on the sketch! :)

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
