Happy Birthday Jess!

Needed to make a card for my friend's Daughter who was 14 on Saturday and after searching through my stamps, found another uninked stamp which seemed perfect for Jess - ipodabella!! Also got to use some papers/card I bought a while back and also thought I'd have a go at doing some sewing on the card - I know it's a bit wonky but was quite pleased with the overall effect!

The image is obviously a Bella and has been coloured with Promarkers. DP is My Minds Eye and used the SU scallop punch on the reverse of the DP and layered the sentiment onto it (also SU). Finished with some sewing!!

Had a couple of pieces of good news lately, (1) my Niece had her baby on Thursday morning - Ruby Jayne so will be taking the boys up to see their new Cousin this week, and (2) passed my first exam on Friday with only one error!! I'm studying from home so I can up-date my CV and get a decent job - that's one of the reasons why I haven't been about lately.

Hope you all had a good weekend - the boys are on Half Term holiday this week so must get on as we've got a busy day ahead of us.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
