Tilda Sewing House Kit

Three posts today...what is happening?!

Now, this project really was a labour of love!  I didn't realise how  long it would take me mainly due to the amount of hand sewing involved...not my favourite hobby and a little bit rough around the edges!  Anyway, I persevered while I was off sick (as I couldn't do much else).

My First Christmas Card!

I saw this card demonstrated by Sue Wilson last year and have only just got around to having a go!

I'm not completely happy with the colour of the holly as I feel it is a little too bright.

Christmas Scene Decoration

I saw this project designed by Anna Marie nearly a year ago and have been desperate to make it ever since and have just found the time.  It is a little time consuming as you have to wait for the different mediums to dry but I'm pleased with the end result (even if it did take me nearly an hour to work out how to make the gnome's hat!)
I added some craft lights which don't show so well in the beautiful sunshine we are having today but they do make the project look very special...such a nice finishing touch.

Two Butterflies with One Stone!

I've recently discovered Altenew stamps and after watching the talented Lydia demonstrate, thought I would have a go too.
I had to make a "Thank You" card and a "Sympathy" card and thought this design would work perfectly for both.

All stamps are from Altenew apart from the "Thinking of You" which is from SU.  Inks are Distress Inks from Tim Holtz.
