More Pretty Storage

These are the final two boxes I have recently made. The Home box is made of MDF and comes flat packed and bare. It's a great size - approx 11" square and I added some acetate inside the lid to ensure nothing escapes through the cut out letters. Apologies for the bad photographs but the light was really bad, however, feel the first photo shows the true colour. I am not a 'green' person but I absolutely love this shade of paint.

This second box was a flat packed kit I've had for a while in chipboard. A little harder to work with as it does have a tendency to warp a little when wet medium is added. Kept it very simply decorated as it will be stacked on my desk as I'm storing my paint pens in it.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!
