Ink Storage - At Last!

I have finally got around to buying some storage for my Distress Ink Pads and decorating it didn't take long at all!

I ordered two from C&C (made by Creative Expressions)and just left off one of the top pieces so I could stack them on my desk. I gave them a couple of coats of acrylic paint (no glue required!) and then covered the sides and tops with Craft Consortium decoupage papers. Finally I added a top coat of matt glaze.

Now I can happily find the right colour when it's needed instead of searching through the box they were originally stored in.

It looks great, I've been after something to store my distress inks, I have a couple of options just not too sure which one, but I intend to use the Craft Consortium decoupage papers to decorate it x

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
