Following my previous project of ink storage, I have another storage box which I wanted to decorate. However, this time I wanted to use some offcuts of wallpaper which someone gave me but wasn't sure how it would take as it is a lot thicker and heavier than normal decoupage paper. So I had a search in my stash and found a mini clipboard which needed altering and decided to use this as my practice piece.
I was really pleased with the end result! The paper did need more glue than usual and did take a little longer to sand the edges but I absolutely love this paper and will now give the box a go with it.
For the back of the clipboard I just added some rub ons before glazing.
This final picture is an attempt to show the sparkly glaze which I got from Creative Expressions. You can see it although in real life, the glaze is evenly spread!
