Chill Out!

I meant to post this card a couple of days ago but have only just got around to photographing it as the light has been bad here.  The challenge on CCT this week is Music and Dance so, as I had this image left over from the last card I made, thought I would make use of her and the leftover papers from the card before that.




Supplies: Image is Whimsy coloured with Promarkers, sentiment is The Greeting Farm; Papers are Magnolia; Cardstock Pink Petticoat; Punch SU; Web ribbon I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and sticky gems are Whiff of Joy.  String was from my stash.

Sorry if the photo is a funny shape but I'm experimenting with iPhoto at the moment to see if it's worth me buying a photo software for my iMac!

Fantastic card Jo, love the image, she is so perfect for this theme and the papers are fabulous! You just reminded me I must get that SU punch out!

Birthday Blog Candy!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
