My First Bookmark!

I really can't believe that these are the first bookmarks I've made. It's always been on my "to do" list but never got round to it, however, Sam received a special book for Christmas from my Sister which has a story for every day of the year in it and he decided that he needed a bookmark for it. So that meant I had to make two so Lewis wouldn't be left out!

Stamps: Magnolia

Colouring: Promarkers

Papers: Scraps of My Minds Eye and K & Co

Extras: Jumbo Eyelets SU, Ribbon Hobbycraft, SU Punch

The boys were really pleased with them but have one more to make now as a friend popped in to see me when I was in the middle of making them and said "Ooh, I want one!"

The boys are back to school on Tuesday, so am hoping to be able to catch up on my blogging then. Have a good evening!

Oh Jo those are just adorable!!!!!! I know they loved them that is for sure. My granddaughter loves to read and has so many books that would make a nice gift for her or even to let her make it. She loves playing with my stamps lol

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

All you have to do to help me celebrate is leave a comment and mention my blog candy on your blog and that's it!! I will draw a winner next Tuesday 09 December and in the meantime, will leave this posting at the top of my blog. Oh, and by the way, this is open to everyone as I will post internationally. Hope you all have a great day!

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
