A Couple of Awards!

Firstly, I wanted to say a big thank you to all those ladies who have been buying stamps from me - I still have loads to sell but may put them straight on E-bay.....will have to ponder on that one!

Well, 2009 is no different from last year in that I still get behind with my e-mails and blogging so once again, trying hard to catch up!

I received this award from two talented ladies Jackie and Erin so thank you so much for thinking of me and you know what, you can both take it back because I love your work! Well now I'm going to surprise you all because at this point I usually say "I will have a think about this and blah, blah, blah......" but guess what? I've actually thought about it and I'm ready to pass it on. It is difficult choosing from so many fabulous blogs but I would like to pass this on to Ila, Deb, Jilli, Marlene and Amanda - I find all your work so inspiring and it encourages me to "have a go".

Have been busy making a few cards today so will be back tomorrow with something to show.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
