And Back to Red Again!

Can you tell I'm in my "distress the edges and sew" phase LOL!!!! Trying hard to start filling up my card basket again as it's nearly empty and I hate not having a card handy when I need one.


At the beginning of January, I stamped out alot of images which I hadn't used before and this is one of them. It's Melinda Blowing Kisses from Whiff of Joy and I've coloured her with Promarkers and the usual doodling to frame her. Is there any point naming the papers lol! (My Minds Eye) and c.s. is Bazzill. Sentiment is Cuddly Buddly and buttons are Doodlebug. Corners are rounded with an SU punch and finally, added a little Glamour Dust to her wings and the hearts.

Things are alot better today so thank you to everyone who asked but I'm a tough old bird and seem to be able to cope with anything that life throws at me!!

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
