Meet Kaitlin

Just a quick posting as I've got Sam home ill.....poor little soul has caught one of the many bugs going around and has not been himself at all. However, he's now beginning to liven up and has started to eat again. All being well, he should be able to go back to school tomorrow.

Back to the card - I was kindly given this stamp by Jo for my birthday back in June and have only just got round to inking her up, so thanks Jo, it really was generous of you!

The stamp is by Whipper Snapper and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill and papers are from Dawn. Sentiment is from Penny Black, flower is Prima and brad is from my stash. Wow, that was short and sweet!

Must go and tidy the kitchen now as the Hairdresser will be here soon to cut the boys' hair. Hope you're enjoying a warmer Monday than down here.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
