Sparkly Santa

I've been playing with my craft stash trying to create a traditional Christmas card and although I've recently been using 8" x 8" cards, thought I would return to the smaller size.  I made two of these but with different sentiments.



I've used a stamp with I've had for years called Santa Collage and have heat embossed him - unfortunately, the photo doesn't show his sparkle!  I've die cut him with a Tonic die.  The card base has been layered with mirricard and white card which has been embossed with my favourite Sue Wilson embossing folder and attached some silver mesh ribbon onto it from The Ribbon Girl.  Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat die cut with a Spellbinders label die and then made the snowflakes with a Martha Stewart punch, spray adhesive, glitter and a gem from SU.

Birthday Blog Candy!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
