First Christmas Card!

Well, here it is, the only Christmas card I've made so far this year lol! Had to make this last week for some friends who are off to Trinidad for four months - lucky beggars! Image is Hanglar, papers are MME and just added a few embellishments from my stash - the ribbon is Gisela Graham which I got from the garden centre. Shame my photographic skills are so bad as you can't see all the layers and the glitter on the card, however, I was pleased with it (the card not the photo!)

Been out most of the day so really should get on with some more cards tomorrow once I've cleared the long list of jobs I have to do! Have a great weekend.

Jo, this is absolutely gorgeous!! I have to say I chicken out of making Christmas cards....but they are normally the only cards I buy...honest!!

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
