An Easter Bunny!





Firstly, I must apologise for the photos - not only are they poor quality but having real trouble trying to arrange them in the posting!

I bought some unpackaged Easter Eggs so needed to make some gift bags to make them look a bit more exciting! Did a bit of recycling and used some Starbucks paper bags I'd held on to and covered them in paper, then stamped my favourite Easter bunny stamp - it's my favourite because it's the only one I've got and it takes hardly any colouring!! - added a sentiment from Papertrey Ink and layered it onto Bazzill c.s. and added some doodling, a carrot button, ribbon and various embellishments. Finally, used my SU punch to make the fixings and some raffia to add a finishing touch.

I'm planning a very relaxed weekend as I have four days off work - I haven't had a break for a year now (not counting the bank holidays at Christmas) so not planning much apart from an egg hunt on Sunday for the boys...just going to enjoy the rest. Hope you all have a Happy Easter.

Birthday Blog Candy!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
