Blessed New Baby

Well, I've finally managed to find time to make a card! Life has been hectic for me lately (as usual) - what with work, college, kids, house, oh, and did I mention I've decorated the kitchen?! Anyway, a couple I know have just had a baby girl so used my most favourite baby stamp ever and kept to a layout I've used before.

The stamp is Penny Black, papers are Pink Petticoat and some mirricard, flowers are from my stash, blingy brad is from SU Pretties Kit, charms are from Ebay, sticky gems from Papermania and sentiment stamp is Papertrey Ink. Finally, added a little Stickles to the daisies and some glitter pen to the butterfly which doesn't show very well.

Gradually starting to get organised crafting-wise. Managed to change the background on my blog and beginning to tidy it up. Next step is tidying up my craft stash so I know just exactly what I've got!

Must fly as off out in half an hour.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
