Howdy Cowboy!

This card was a bit of a rush job last night as Sam had a birthday party today and I needed something for one of his little mates. I already had this image from The Greetings Farm stamped out and coloured in so just used some scraps of paper, a sentiment stamp from Lizzie Anne Designs and a bit of raffia and hey presto! Once I've done my jobs, think I'll stamp out a few more of these and make up some more cards for my box as they are so quick to make. I'm trying real hard to use up all the images I've already got stamped out and also, the huge pile of scrap paper and card which only usually gets looked at as a last resort.

Can't believe it's the weekend and I've got three days off so intend to make the most of it and keep the housework to a minimum! Have a great weekend everybody.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
