Picking Apples x 6!

Here's one of the cards I managed to make yesterday. I decided in the end, not to photograph them all as they are all very similar...just slightly different papers and coloured flowers, but the images are all the same and coloured identically - you see I'm trying to keep to my New Year's resolution of 2008 of making several cards at the same time - it's only taken me two years to do but managed to make six of these - four for birthdays this month and two to put in my card box which is VERY empty! I won't bore you with all the details of the card but have kept it very simple with a little distressing and sewing.

Just finished work so need to get on with some of my own housework now before I pick the boys up.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
