Still Alive & Kicking!!

Hi!! Sorry for the lack of postings but thanks for hanging in there and a HUGE thank you to Dawn because after our chat this morning, she inspired me to get going again and OMG, did she make me laugh!! What colour hair do you have today Dawn?!!!! Thanks also to Jose....you are just so kind to me and the boys :0)

Anyway, here's the card I put together today - nothing special, just very simple to get me started.

The image is High Hopes, coloured with Promarkers with some doodling around the edges. Papers are Pink Petticoat printed onto lightweight c.s. and the plain blue piece has been put through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. The sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and has been layered onto blue c.s. which was cut with SU scalloped punch and I cut into it to give the flower effect and used a white gel pen to add the dots. Finally, added some Papermania sticky gems.

Thanks for looking.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
