Simple "With Love"

Today I'm showing another card I made recently which I had seen demonstrated by Lydia of Altenew.  I loved the simplicity of the card but didn't have the stamps in question so improvised and found a heart stamp from Inky Doodles and chose some colours from the Distress Oxides.

I found a sentiment which matched the image and heat embossed it onto black card.  Unlike Lydia's card, I didn't want the sentiment placed through the hearts as it blocked out most the image (my hearts must have been a lot smaller!), so placed it underneath.

Birthday Blog Candy!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
