Red and White Christmas Tree

I've been busy finishing off my Christmas cards and making decorations...I still have a few to finish but should be done by tomorrow (fingers crossed!).

This project is a collection of plastic baubles which I decorated in a similar manner. They are all different shapes and sizes and it wasn't until I hung them on the white tree to photograph them, that it occurred to me to make a feature of them all, so I added some battery lights and voila!

This one was taken during the "creating" bit when I had my eureka moment!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
