Turning Glass into Stone!

I've been having a play with some Viva products after seeing a demonstration from Anna Marie. I started with the napkin ring in case it went horribly wrong as this was the inside of a toilet roll(!) and then progressed onto the vases and tea light holders which were all plain glass when I started.

This tea light holder was just me doodling with one of the products and then using a ceramic effect over the top.

This one was just using chalky paint, however, when I put the heart on I had messy fingers and smudged the tea light holder with the darker paint so had to paint a (wobbly) line around the top!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
