My Fairy Godmother!

Here's a card I made for a friend and thought this stamp was absolutely perfect! I have had my eye on this image for a while and managed to justify buying it a couple of weeks ago. I'm not the greatest colourist in the world and I'm a bit rusty as it's been a while since I made the effort to sit down and colour an image. Therefore, I stamped out a few of these images in case of mistakes and even though they're not brilliant, I was pleased with my efforts… which means I was able to make more than one card!

This second one has been added to a bigger card (8" x 8") so decided it needed layering. Therefore, inked up some plain white card with Distress Inks to try and colour match Edna's dress.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials. I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so. I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
