More Sewing Projects

I'm trying to catch up with projects I've recently completed so thought I would start with the sewing related ones.

Firstly, I've completed another bag where I tackled pleats and piping on a small scale...


The next project was one which I should have completed last Christmas!  Unfortunately, I haven't been well and alot of projects got postponed, including this one!


It's actually a doorstop, however, will be using it as a Christmas decoration later this year!

Finally, I tackled oil cloth and zips in one project and it was alot simpler than I had thought...


I've decided to use this as storage for my Tilda fat quarters and charm packs as it's quite roomy - in fact it would also work as a shoe bag as well as the obvious wash bag.

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
