Black and White

Good Morning to anyone that continues to read my blog!  

Today's submission is a card a friend asked me to make - she wanted one for a girl who liked to shop, especially for shoes.



Used an image which I was given some years ago from Rubber Romance and decided to keep it as it was with no colouring.  Base card is made up with black cardstock and a white piece which has been embossed with the Sue Wilson Heart Lattice embossing folder.  Used a Tonic punch to make the band underneath the image and a Darkroom Door string sentiment.  Made a bow with some silky crush ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and added some silver and black voile, a black dazzler and some black sticky gems.

Entering this in The Ribbon Girl challenge which is to add ribbons.

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
