Long Time, No See

It's been such a long time since I last posted on here but trying hard to get back into the habit.

I haven't made a card in a long while, instead I've been trying to organise and catalogue my stamp collection and other craft items and I'm slowly (very slowly!) getting through it!

One of my clients recently became a Granny for the first time and I wanted to make her a special card so here it is…

I've used my favourite baby image - Baby Hammock by Penny Black coloured with Copics and Promarkers with a bit of Glamour Dust for sparkle.  Papers are Magnolia, stitched around the edges and finished off with some flowers (The Ribbon Girl), punched leaves (Martha Stewart), webbing (Bunny Zoe Crafts), Sparkly jewels (Stampin Up)and a Teddy Bear charm from my stash.  Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

This is the inside - not a good photo I know but for some unknown reason my camera was playing up and this was the best shot I could get!  Decorated with Magnolia papers, again stitched around the edges and then added a Paper Smooches sentiment to the plain white card together with a Penny Black Stickeroo and some doodling.

Week 2 of Techniques

It’s the second week of Tando’s FB Live and the tutorial was by Jane Royston. This week the colours are more my style. I didn’t have the exact supplies so had to improvise a little. This was the end result... I love doing these tutorials.  I put aside time for me on a Saturday morning and just get lost in the moment...all worries are forgotten for an hour or so.  I would highly recommend it.

Chocolate Somethings

Friday again and Half Term has started! The boys finished school yesterday so hopefully, we've got a fun day together! The challenge on Stamp Something this week is chocolate - everybody's favourite! and there's one stamp I turn to when that word is mentioned. I've followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. The image is from Penny Black and has been coloured with Promarkers. Cardstock is Bazzill Bling and papers are Doodlebug. Matted the image onto some c.s. which has been run through the Cuttlebug and threaded some ribbon through using SU slot punch. Finally added a brad from my stash . A big thank you to Jose for helping me with my images......love the way some of you girls have been putting a sneak peek at the top of your posts and Jose was nice enough (and clever enough) to explain how to do it. Hope you all have a great weekend.
