Long Time, No Blog!


Well, it's been a good few months since I've posted anything mainly due to the fact that life has been so hectic.  A lot of my time was taken up with making wedding invitations for my Niece and I must admit that after making nearly 120 cards all the same, I was not in the mood for crafting afterwards!  However, now that has passed and needed to make a card for one of my Dad's friends so here it is!

Used a Whimsy stamp (Meljen's Designs Collection) known as Gruffy Little Gnome which I've had for a while but never stamped.  He's coloured with Promarkers, papers are Echo Park Times & Seasons and used Kraft card from Pink Petticoat.  Corner die cut and letters are Die-namics.  All products (including the webbing) are from My Mum's Craft Shop.

Birthday Blog Candy!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
