Happy Birthday Lewis!

My gorgeous Lewis is fourteen today...can you believe it - I can't! Where have all the years gone?

Lewis made a point of asking me to make him a card so I wanted to do something a little bit special for him and was really pleased with the outcome. Decided to make a little pocket on the inside to slip a Costa gift card in - he does like popping in for a hot chocolate with his mates! Main image is The Greetings Farm, round birthday stamp is Cats Life Press and sentiment is Elzybells, papers are Archaic Collection and just added some string and a rather large button! Cardstock is from SU.

We're {hopefully} chilling out today and eating plenty of chocolate birthday cake so think I should probably take a picture of it before we demolish it!

just perfect birthday card for lewis ~how soon they grow up..my aaron is 14, nearly 6ft tall (looks down on me , seeing i`m only 5ft)...and yes has attitude!!!

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
