Party Time!

I'm still here! Sorry I haven't been around for a long while but I've now got myself a job so don't have much time to craft at the moment until I get myself a bit more organised!! However, it's Sam's birthday next week so had to make a few invitations for his party. We're going back to basics this year because of the credit crunch etc! so it's a party at home for a few of his friends.

Wanted to make a very quick and easy card because I was so late with them, however, they did take me a little longer than expected because I decided to decorate the insides as well.

The paper is from the Cricut birthdays pad and just used some MAMBI die cuts from my stash. For the insides, I used some Bazzill cardstock in pink and orange and used a stamp from MFT. I doodled around the edges and then added a matching MAMBI sticker. Put another sticker on the envelope as well, but didn't photograph that lol!! Finally, the bottom corners were rounded with my SU punch. Was quite pleased with the end result as they came out fresh and fun which is what I wanted for seven year olds!

I still haven't caught up on my blogging or e-mails so please don't think I'm ignoring you......I'm just trying to get my life in order and unfortunately, blogging comes last. Hope to be back very soon.

My Surprise For Tony!!

As promised, I'm back to let you in on my surprise for Tony tomorrow! Don't know where to start with this but maybe a little personal history first. When I married Tony in 1996 I was a UK size 14. I've always had to watch my weight and never been naturally thin but was never vastly overweight either. In March 1997 I fell pregnant with Lewis and that's when the trouble started.....the weight piled on and after he was born as well because I wasn't eating properly and just grabbing food out of the fridge when I had a spare five minutes.....oh, the joys of being a new Mum! Then I got pregnant again with Sam and even though I didn't gain much more weight during pregnancy, I made up for it afterwards! Am I boring you yet! It took me ten years and many failed diets to finally get serious about losing weight so I started my diet in January this year and this is the evidence....... please do not show the first photo to small children or animals as it may scare them !!!!!...
