A Special 60th

My lovely Sister is celebrating her 60th birthday today so had to make her a special card.  Her gift from us was money so also wanted to dress it up a little so made a Tim Holtz gift card holder to put the money in and attached it to the MDF 60. The bag was a little rushed to say the least!

Valentine's Birthday

Another quick post...this is a card I made for my Niece, who celebrates her birthday on Valentine's Day!  All products are from AMD.

Some Exciting News!

I've had some exciting news which I've been keeping quiet about for a few weeks now.  I think you know how much I love everything Anna Marie Designs and couldn't believe it when Anna Marie asked me if I would consider contributing to her blog!  It's a new idea she has started and just to make it extra special, I was chosen to be the first contributor.  Here's the link to my first blog post  https://annamariedesigns.co.uk/beautiful-jo-king/  and I've also been asked to do more!  Super excited! Here's a taster of the card I made...

For Ethan

I was asked to make this card recently by a friend of a friend and unfortunately, it has a rather sad story. The lady in question had seen my cards I've made before and wanted a "special" birthday card for her 5 year old Grandson's birthday who very sadly, is no longer with us. She had specific instructions - she wanted one similar to the larger cards I've made and it had to have his name, a star and the date of his birthday on it. It was not to be morbid - it had to have "H appy Birthday" in it (which it does inside), and she had a protective case for it so she could put it on his grave. I was a little taken aback when I received this request but felt quite honoured (if that's the right choice of word) that she wanted one of my cards for this occasion. Needless to say, this card was made with a lot of love and care. All products used were from Anna Marie Designs apart from the dies for the bunting and numbers.
