Another TV Demonstration!

Here's another one I completed from my recordings!  Graphic 45 papers again and I absolutely love the sentiments on these!  Haven't made a tent card in ages - I do like them but find that if the recipients are non crafters, they don't seem to realise how to stand them up!

Graphic 45 Notepad and Pen Holder

I needed to clear some of my recordings on my TV box so thought it was about time I had a go at some of the craft related ones.  This notepad and pen holder was demonstrated by Clare Charvill and it's so quick and simple to make and has already been snapped up by a friend!

Wedding Order

I was asked by a friend of a friend to make a personalised wedding card.  She'd already had one of these AMD cards before and this time, wanted a personalised one.  I must admit I did wonder if I would fit all the bunting in when I heard the names!

Silver Fairy Clean and Simple Style

This is the final card from the Hobby House Silver Fairy kit and decided to go in a completely different direction and keep it clean and simple.

70th Gift

As promised, here's the little something I made for my friend to go with her present and card.

Happy Birthday Sandra!

My dear friend and neighbour turns 70 today so a special card was needed and of course, turned to AMD for the inspiration! Have made her something else to go with her card and present but will show that later as I'm a little bit tired this morning after getting up earlier than usual to collect my youngest from his Duke of Edinburgh practice weekend!

Silver Fairy No 4

Here's another one from the Hobby House kit... ...Only two more to go!

Silver Fairy No 5

Still going with the Silver Fairy kit from Hobby House...

Something a Bit Different!

There's been a lot of excitement recently about Tim Holtz Distress Oxides which seemed to be selling out as soon as they got to the shops.  I have patiently waited, sitting on my hands, until now that is and finally bit the bullet and bought the set.  Yesterday, I had a few hours to myself so thought I would give them a go and wow! do I love them!  So easy to use and such good results for backgrounds.  Here are my first two attempts - my Son has claimed the first one for his new bedroom so will have to frame it.  I think I will make the second one into a card.

Silver Fairy No 3

Here's No 3 of six from the kit.  All supplies from the Hobby House.

Silver Fairy No 2

Here's the second card I made from the Hobby House Silver Fairy Kit.  I find when I've lost my mojo a bit, these kits are a bit of a lifesaver to give you a kick up the backside and get crafting again!

Hobby House Silver Fairy

Got a couple of days to myself at home so have been spending it crafting!  Started gently (!) with a kit from Hobby House and then hope to get messy tomorrow with paints and Distress Oxides! This is the first of six cards I have made today...

...and the present too!

Here's a little gift to go with the card I showed previously, to hang on the door of her Sewing Room.  Painted and crackled and then added various sewing embellishments.

A Card for a Sewing Enthusiast

This birthday card was made for a friend of many years who is fantastic at sewing.  Kept it very clean and simple because I know she doesn't like lots of flowers and embellishments.

Another "Colonel:

So, here's the next one, which I made two of, for two more birthdays, this time, obviously male!  I made the same card recently but this time left the 80 off.  It's a very quick and easy card which makes it ideal for batch making and I even got to use my Stamp Platform for the first time - wonderful tool and wouldn't be without it!
