Have a Purr-fect Day!

I have a card to show today…it seems like ages since I made one but a friend asked me to make one for her Daughter-in-Law.  The requirements were it had to have a cat on it and the lady's name, so here's what I came up with. Used an old favourite of mine "Uplifting Occasion" from Penny Black and coloured it with Promarkers.  Used a few dies for the matting and layering from Sue Wilson and Tattered Lace and another Sue Wilson die for the flowers and embossing.  The sentiment was generated from my Cricut Explore.  The inside of the card reads "Have a Purr-fect Day"!

Latest Sewing Project

I have a pile of sewing projects to complete and this is the latest one.  I'm slowly increasing in confidence although have yet to tackle zips, piping and button holes! This pattern kit is from The Owl and The Sewing Cat and I was surprised at how quick it all came together.  There is a large pocket on the front and the bag is fully lined.

Catch Up from Christmas

Just going through the makes from Christmas and found these which I forgot to post - two cards with boxes, and a cracker which I made for a friend with a lovely bath melt inside.
